Welcome!
I am a concert pianist and educator from Spain based in New York City. My repertoire spans music from the Baroque to the 21st century, but I am specialized in performing newly written music and in rescuing lesser known works that deserve a place in today’s concert programs. My latest projects include a program called “Spain, Reimagined”, which explores rarely performed pieces by 20th and 21st century composers from Spain and Latin America and that I have taken to several venues in the East Coast and Spain.
I also perform frequently as a collaborative pianist. My latest ventures include performances with members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, as well as the recording of the soundtrack for the Netflix film “Dancing on Glass’ by Iván Palomares, nominated for the Goya Awards in 2023.
I hold a Doctorate in Piano performance and much of career is focused on music education. I direct the educational programs at SpeakMusic Conservatory, a community music school in NJ, and I have given lectures, presentations, recitals and lessons in dozens of institutions in the US and Europe.
